Amazon Files Permit to Begin Building in Georgetown, TX

Amazon currently has a warehouse in Round Rock but has moved forward this week with plans to construct an additional warehouse in Georgetown. They will start constructions next month on a 249,000 square foot facility at 104 Wittera Way in Georgetown, TX. Amazon also has facilities in Kyle, Belton, San Marcos, Pflugerville, and Austin.

Investment opportunities abound near the Georgetown facility! One neighborhood close to where Amazon will be building their new warehouse is Travena by Meritage Homes. Travena is a planned community with amenities such as a resort style pool, a half basketball court, a pickleball court, playground and walking trails throughout the community.
